Chess in the Bar: You know you're staying at a unique hotel when you can challenge your companions to a game of chess in the bar downstairs. It's like playing a strategic match while sipping on your favorite drink. Truly a winning combination!
Sloping Ceiling: My room on the second floor had a charming sloping ceiling, reminiscent of a cozy attic hideaway. However, beware if you're a bit taller or enjoy sitting up in bed without the risk of bumping your head.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Bonheur for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and generous, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast they provide is absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to explore the nearby city of Maastricht. Despite its proximity to the station, the hotel is incredibly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The free WiFi also worked very well during my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Le Bonheur and would definitely stay here again.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the charming bar downstairs. It's like stepping into a world of its own, where time slows down and you can engage in an epic chess battle while sipping on a refreshing drink. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, it's like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a chilly winter night.
Thin walls between rooms.

They even made us a delicious breakfast and accommodated our early departure. the hotel itself is located in a charming Dutch village and offers clean and well-equipped rooms. the staff spoke excellent English and were always friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lot of character and charm, which made it a unique and cozy place to stay. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast, with warm croissants and the option to have eggs made to order. the hotel's location was convenient, being just a short walk from the train station and bus stop. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby, making it easy to find everything I needed.
The hotel's walls were quite thin, which made it easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms. if you're planning to visit the city of Maastricht, it's a bit of a distance and public transportation options are limited.
